6/7/21 Lunes Típico
Mi lunes ha sido típico hasta ahora. Escuché a Marc Anthony y Language Transfer (transferencia de la lengua) por veinte minutos. Tomé algunas clases de español para principiantes por Zoom @ 9am/12pm/4pm/6pm. Caminé en la cinta de la correr por cuarenta minutos. Leí mi libro llamada "Easy Spanish Phrase Book" por diez a quince minutos.
Nuevas Palabras de Vocabulario
- Por lo general/En general- In general (ex: En general mi español está bien./ In general, my spanish is ok.)
- Si te vas- If you leave (ex: ¡Si te vas voy a morir!/If you leave I will die!)
- Mi pobre corazón- my poor heart (ex:¿Qué hará mi pobre corazón? /What's my poor heart to do?)
- Capricho- Infatuation/Impulse/whim (ex: ¡Solo tenia un capricho conmigo eso es todo!/ She just had an infatuation with me, that's all!)
- Suertudo- lucky (ex: No mi día suertudo, supongo. /It's not my lucky day, I guess.)
- ¿Qué sabes bailar?- Do you know how to dance?
- No faltaba mas- of course (positive)/ no way (negative)
- Con gusto- gladly
- Alguien aquí- anyone here
- ¿Como podemos llegar a...?- How can we get to....?
- ¿Para que?- What for?
- ¿Puede describir a la persona?- Can you describe the person?
Cuatro clases de español! That sounds like mucho—no wonder your blog es en español! I laughed when I read phrases 2, 3, and 4 above, imagining a soap opera or romance novel that might use those phrases.
ReplyDeleteLol, Mary that's so funny! I was just trying to come up with sentences so I could use the new word. (Like I did as a child so many years ago) I also want to immerse myself in Spanish as much as possible.
